I "watched" the coaches show on thursday it was fun and laid back. I heard Stan Van Gundy refer to Hidalgo concerning the cancellation of the preseason game between the heat and the magic. About the subject of Nba city being close for the fans who did not get to see the game because of the cancellation. How about them Rangers! I love the Yankees too they were both my favorite teams so it really did not effect me as much. Stephen
I'm glad we were able to keep our court in good shape to avoid anything like that happening. Honestly, we brought in someone from Toyota Center before the game to make sure all of our measurements on escape lanes and other stuff was perfect for NBA specs to ensure there wouldn't even be a question. Did that last year too. For a game like this, you can leave nothing to chance.
In the spirit of Rhode Island, Jonah Goldberg is neither a doctor, nor a professor, but he is the statistical wizard of RGV (despite the occasional math breakdown... he did attend COM at Boston University... you know, the college of OPTIONAL math... actually, it stands for College of Communication). Jonah is the home color commentator and road play-by-play announcer for Vipers broadcasts. He also wears a whole host of other hats for the organization, including Director of Communications.
The nickname actually comes from the Rockets. Play-by-Play broadcaster Craig Ackerman used that nickname for his partner, Adam Wexler, when they were working together, so it only makes sense that their NBA Development League counterparts would do the same.
